Orphan girls of Bihar as a general and especially of Gaya and other district are in problem. Their education and proper training are the more knotty problem.
Orphan boys get education in orphanage or other Local or outside schools. The education facilities are available to those girls who have parents alive. But for the orphan girls there is neither any school, nor orphanage in Gaya and other district of Bihar to impart them education and training. There are orphanages for orphan girls in Bengal, Madras and Hyderabad, but perhaps there is no trace of specifically meant for Girls orphanage in Bihar.
The long cherished dream of the founder of “THE Gaya Muslim Orphanage” in his letter dated 3rd October 1938 thus wrote;
“From January 1939, Girls section of The Gaya Muslim orphanage be established to impart education and a lady teacher be recruited for this purpose, Kolowna Would be the suitable place”
Keeping in view the high teaching of Islam, Late Enayeth Khan (May God shower his blessings upon him) laid the foundation of The Gaya Muslim Orphanage, thus fulfilling his first dream in October, 1917.
The prime mover for establishment of The Muslim Girls' Orphanage are these three things
Enayeth khan’s second dream turned into reality. This noble dream was brought into existence by Mr. Iqbal Ahmad Khan, the founder’s grandson, by establishing. The Gaya Muslim Girls' Orphanage, on the 21st December 1986 with three orphan girls in a rented tiled house at village Kolowna the founder’s native village. Thus with Allah’s blessings the mission of Late Enayeth khan got fulfilled.
